Automatic fish feeder
Getting
an Automatic Fish Feeder
If
you are going on vacation or you need to leave your fish home alone
for some time an automatic fish feeder provides a safe way of ensuring
that your fish are fed while you are away. The feeder is mounted
under the hood of your fish tank and will dispense a certain amount
of food at regular intervals. Before you go away you simply determine
the amount of food and the number of times your fish need to be
feed.
Before
you go away you should test to make sure that your feeder is working
properly and dispensing an appropriate amount of food.
Despite
the practical nature of an automatic fish feeder, you shouldn't
rely on it over a very long period of time. For one thing, the container
of most automatic feeders aren't airtight which means that the vitamin
content of the food will decrease. Also, as with all electronic
gadgets, there is the risk of a sudden malfunction. To be on the
safe side you should get a friend or relative to check and make
sure that everything is running smoothly.
It
is advised that you don't use the feeder every day. Ordinarily,
you will need to keep an eye on your fish to make sure that they
actually eat so you should only use the feeder when you are away.

Fish
die belly upward, and rise to the surface. Its their way of
