Canine tissue culture -adapted vaccines Chick embryo - adapted vaccines.
Canine tissue culture-adapted vaccines are nearly 100% effective. In some rare instances, however, they cause swelling of the brain a few weeks after vaccination. If your dog has a compromised immune system, most experts agree he should not receive this type of vaccine.
