First Aid : Heatstroke or Heat Exhaustion
7. Heatstroke or Heat Exhaustion: Signs of heatstroke are excessive panting, slobbering, vomiting, diarrhea, raised temperature, obvious distress, collapse or coma. Remove dog from hot spot into cool or shady area. Place your dog in a tub of cool water, hose him down with cold water, gently massage his legs and body until he cools down or you can get him to the veterinarian while wrapped in a cool wet towel. If you find your dog is recovering, gently dry him with towel and offer him small amounts of water. If he's very distressed you can give artificial respiration if necessary.
