Benefits of a Pet Door
Benefits of a Pet Door A pet door means more freedom for you - but especially, it means more freedom for your pet. I particularly enjoy the fact that I can allow myself to be less concerned about letting my dog in and out at times when I'm extremely busy. Neither do I have to get up late at night when Fido needs to attend urgent business at the office. As comfortable as it may be having a dog door I make that it does not become something that will disassociate you from your pet's life. Much of the everyday simple interaction between you and your pet is exactly what forms a bond between owner and pet. Little things such as giving him a treat, letting him out etc. Another thing I've noticed is the fact that dogs don't get as easily bored when they have more freedom to roam about as they please. Preventing boredom also prevents compulsive chewing of random objects in your home. When your dog is less bored he is more likely to channel his energy into other more wholesome activitites. Benefits: - Keeps your dog active
- Convenience
- Fewer accidents
- Reduces problem behaviour from boredom
