Pet gates are ideal for containment within the home.

A pet gate can be used in many ways. If you want to contain your pet in a certain area / room in your home it is a much better option than simply closing the door for both you and your dog. Chances that he will chew on things or bark are small because he won't feel left alone and you will be able to keep an eye on him. When he doesn't feel left alone, naturally he will feel better knowing that you're right there for him. Many pet gates can also be used with a staircase if you don't want your dog roaming about upstairs (or downstairs for that matter).

Types of Pet Gates

• Pet Gates for tall dogs - Pet gates made especially for tall dogs. If you have a tall dog you will need a gate that is especially designed for tall breeds to make sure that he will not be able to jump over the gate.

• Configure Pet Gates - these gates can be configured to fit in odd-sized openings. For odd sized openings a configurable pet gate is ideal because it is particularly designed to fit openings of practically any size

• Walkthrough Gates - these doors open both ways.

• Pressure mounted gates. These are very easy to install, but should not be used on top of a flight of stairs since your dog could possibly knock it over.

• Hardware mounted gates - requires more installation effort, but it is the safe choice when installing it on a staircase.

• Portable Pet Gates. Ideal when you need to take your pet on the road.
